There are two available funky voices groups to join:

Colchester

Chelmsford

New members always welcome, no audition, no need to be able to read music, or sight-read….just an enthusiasm and enjoyment for singing

Funky Voices is not a 'conventional' choir due to the age range being open to ages 13 to 80 who come from all walks of life, and the repertoire we sing, such as "Take That", "The Beatles" and even "Scissor Sisters" making it an exciting and enjoyable experience for everyone. We meet in Colchester, Essex, every Thursday and although most members are not trained singers, together they make a wonderful sound and are full of energy (and laughter) . The Director arranges 90% of the music herself, to suit the choir members, and to bring the music up to date and possible for a choir to sing.
